Anthony Ramsden was born in Haslemere and worked his Articles with Potter Owtram & Peck. He has spent all his working life with the firm. He specialises in civil litigation, family and property matters and at various times has dealt with cases in all three divisions of the High Court and also in the Court of Appeal. Some property transactions have been complex. He sits as a Deputy District Judge (county court) on the South Eastern circuit dealing with a varied case load of civil and family cases. His main interests are mountain walking, history and music – mainly choral singing which has also taken him abroad. He has also served or serves as chairman or trustee to a number of local organisations and charities including Opera South, Grayshott Concerts, The Dolmetsch Foundation and the Haslemere and District Community Centre.
