Retired Former solicitor

Enrolled in 1960 – joining Herbert Gordon Saville Peck , sole partner of Potter Owtram & Peck in 1962,  succeeding as Senior Partner in 1964.  Having practised much in common law – contract, tort and family law, ultimately progressing to Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney and general practice.  Serving on many committees and charities including governor of St Edmunds school, Hindhead (since 1979), President of the Comrades Club, Vice President of the Dolmetsch Foundation, chairman of Haslemere Initiative (twice) chairman of the Haslemere Chalice Trust, Mamie Mollan Trust and Dora Fedoruk Trust (all part of the Surrey Community Foundation), Trustee of Haslewey Community centre and the Betty Parr Whitbread Trust.  In addition co-founder and trustee of the Melanie Braysher Trust, supporter to Kings World Trust, Haslemere Educational Museum and Haslemere Hall.

Retired as a practising solicitor on 1 November 2015, however continues with non-legal liaison work to assist his established clients in the delivery of legal services from Potter Owtram & Peck.
